Vice President, Information Technology Management, and CIO, Chrysler Financial
Talvis P. Love was appointed Vice President – Information Technology Management and Chief Information Officer – Chrysler Financial in July 2007.
In this position, Love’s responsibilities are to direct the development of IT systems in alignment with Chrysler Financial’s strategic requirements, oversee IT systems operations at optimal cost, and manage IT development and implementation to ensure data protection, security and privacy for Chrysler Financial’s customers. In addition, Love is responsible for the Enterprise Project Management Office, where he is responsible for ensuring all joint business and IT projects drive measurable business value from the strategic portfolio.
Prior to becoming Vice President and Chief Information Officer, Love was Senior Manager -- ITM Chrysler Brand, Dealer and Point-of-Sale Systems, a position he assumed when he joined the company in September 2005.
Love’s career has included several executive and management positions within Ford Motor Company, Oracle Corporation and Quaker Oats Company, now a division of PepsiCo.
Love earned degrees in Technology Management (Associate of Science) and Information Systems Management (Bachelor of Science) from the University of Maryland in 1989 and 1990 respectively. In 2008, he earned his master’s in business administration from Michigan State University. Love also completed graduate studies at the University of Chicago.
