RouteOne's web-based system provides automobile dealers with the ability to send credit application information to and receive credit decisions from multiple finance sources, including OEM captive finance companies, banks, and other financial institutions via a single internet portal. RouteOne is looking for a software developer with a passion for creating elegant solutions.  As part of our team you will be expected to deliver new functionality and enhancements to our products while adhering to our quality standards. You should have a broad knowledge of both front-end and back-end technologies with an eye towards code quality and maintainability.  We primarily write code in Java and JavaScript, but we will consider all candidates with a strong grasp of object-oriented design.  

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

1. Fluent in one or more object-oriented language, Java or C# strongly preferred

2. Familiar with modern HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

3. Understanding of fundamental data structures

4. Basic relational database knowledge

5. Experience with an object-relational mapping tool like Hibernate, LINQ to SQL, or Entity Framework

6. Ability to quickly learn new languages, frameworks, and API’s 

7. Meticulous but still able to meet objectives

8. Able to work independently toward a goal and manage own assignments

NON-ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS FOR THE POSITION: 

1. jQuery or other JavaScript frameworks 

2. Familiarity with the Spring core framework

3. Understanding of design patterns, domain driven design, test driven development

4. Experience using version control systems such as CVS or SVN 

5. Knowledge of popular software development processes
